10. Heaven’s Gate Trilogy Collection

reserve bar

Price: $62

All:

Bob Dylan’s signature brand of whiskey is always a great gift. Each expression has its own bottle illustration created by Dylan in his studio (imitating iron doors). With this set you get three 200ml bottles (one full bottle is 750ml) from the main range. It’s a Straight Bourbon, a Double Barrel Whiskey and a Straight Rye.

You can read our review of each bottle here.

Conclusion :

It’s a great entry point for the Dylan brand. Heaven’s Door releases amazing limited editions every year. This three-bottle gift set is the solution.

9. The Glenlivet 18 with Glencairn whiskey glass in a presentation box

Glenlivet 18
reserve bar

Price: $199

All:

This set comes with a bottle of The Glenlivet 18 – here’s our review – with a lovely Glencairn glass. Basically, you’re gifting someone a killer bottle of Scotch whiskey with the one glass it should be tasted in (by that we mean sniffing and sipping to find all those deep flavor notes). A Glencairn is basically the ultimate and perfect crystal whiskey glass that maximizes the tasting experience through its shape.

Conclusion :

These two elements go together perfectly because a good whiskey deserves a good glass. But leaving the glass aside, this is a very good whiskey that will make any whiskey lover happy when they receive it.

8. Talisker 10 with waterproof bag

talisque 10
reserve bar

Price: $78

All:

Talisker 10 is one of the greatest gateways to peated whiskey there is. You can read our review here, but believe us, this is a salty and fruity whiskey that has nothing but peat whispers. The accompanying “dry bag” looks like the ultimate Father’s Day gift. It’s simple and useful. Of course, it will keep all the contents dry while you are browsing or walking through a forest in the rain. But it’s really just a cool bottle bag for your whiskey.

Sometimes it doesn’t have to be more than that.

Conclusion :

It’s a cool set but the real star of the show is the whiskey. Talisker 10 is an iconic whiskey for a reason. It’s subtle and deep and is one of the best Scotch whiskeys given as a gift.

7. The Ardbeg BBQ Smoker Gift Set

Ardbeg An Oa
reserve bar

Price: $73

All:

Smoked whiskey and smoking device all in one? Yes! This bottle of Ardbeg An Oa, our review here, comes in a metal tin that doubles as a real smokehouse for your backyard barbecue. Looking at it, you would never guess that the silver box has a function, but it does. The whole kit comes with an instruction manual and a QR code for the recipes that work best with the mini smoker.

Conclusion :

Again, it’s really about the bottle. Ardbeg An Oa is an excellent whiskey from Islay. It’s bold, sure, but it’s also nuanced and inviting. And frankly, what better to accompany smoked meat than a good smoked whiskey?

6. Dewar’s Lemon Wedge

Dewar set
Dewars

This box is dedicated to cocktails on the go, especially on the golf course. Set includes a full bottle of Dewar’s 12 (our review) with Santa Cruz lemonade, Q Mixer soda water, two lemons, golf balls, golf tees to use as topping choices, and three markers Gold Dewar. You only need to provide ice and glasses to create a refreshing Dewar’s Lemon Wedge cocktail, which was the official cocktail of this year’s US Open golf tournament.

Conclusion :

It is a good gift for any golf lover. It’s also a great set if you want to mix drinks on the go at a block party or backyard barbecue.

5. Brough Brothers Bourbon with Sugarfina Bourbon Collection Gift Set

Brough Brothers
reserve bar

Price: $71

All:

Brough Brothers is one of the coolest bourbon brands in Louisville right now. The black-owned operation aims to uplift their West Louisville community while making great bourbon. This set pairs a bottle of their first bourbon (which was one of our favorites of 2021) with a Sugarfina Bourbon Collection gift set, which includes an elegant copper flask and Bourbon Maple Toffees and Bourbon Bears candies. .

Conclusion :

Bourbon and candy almost always go well together. That alone makes it an obvious giveaway. Add the big, young bourbon company and a cool bottle and you’re ready to gift.

4. Basil Hayden Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey with ReserveBar Smoking Kit

Basil Haydens
reserve bar

Price: $120

All:

Basil Hayden Bourbon is a bit old school but has some serious fans. You can read our review here. But this giveaway is really about what comes with that bottle. This one comes with a cocktail smoking kit. This includes a culinary-grade torch with a ladle, three aromatic smoking blocks (cedar, cherry, and maple), and a QR code with recipes and a soundtrack for mixing then smoking cocktails.

Conclusion :

Smoking a cocktail may sound fancy (and it can be), but it adds a whole new dimension to a drink. Basil Hayden is a good starter bourbon for experimenting with steamy cocktails as it is very classic. All in all, this gift is all about the sweet spots for the burgeoning home bartender.

3. Lagavulin 16 with ReserveBar Ice Ball Press

Ice press
reserve bar

Price: $672

All:

Lagavulin 16 is one of the most iconic peated Islay malts on the market. You can read our review of the entire line here. This whiskey comes, again awesome, with probably the coolest bar fixtures in the game right now, an ice ball press. The stainless steel press turns large ice cubes into perfect two-inch spheres in less than a minute. You don’t have to do anything (except make ice cubes). You simply place the cube on the base and place the press on top. Gravity does the rest.

Conclusion :

We fully agree that this is a very luxurious bar cart item to have. But it’s also one of the coolest. It makes spherical ice without plugging anything in. Plus, these round scoops of ice cream look great in a glass with a little Laga 16 poured over them.

2. Remus Repeal Reserve Bourbon Gift Set

Remus' Reserve
reserve bar

Price: $690

All:

Alright, no more freebies with great whiskey. It’s pretty much an excellent whisky. This set contains four half-bottles (375ml) of Remus Reserve from the last four releases. You can check out a Remus Reserve review here. Each of these bottles are no longer on the open market, which makes this collection super unique.

It all comes in a nice box meant to mimic a bourbon bookcase, which is a nice touch.

Conclusion :

This is a gift for a true bourbon lover. It’s rare and, yes, the whiskeys on the box are also delicious.
