Eureka!, which many refer to as “Eureka Burger,” expanded its local presence by adding a fifth Bay Area location this month in Santa Clara at 2762 Augustine Drive. It’s located in the Santa Clara Square Marketplace shopping center and debuted on July 12. Beyond the local area, the Southern California-based chain has two dozen restaurants in California, as well as one in Seattle and one in Boise.
Eureka! was built around the concept of making everything in-house and using only the most premium meats. According to Mercury News, their burgers consist of grass-fed carrot-fed beef produced near Bakersfield and without hormones. Every sauce used in the food is handmade and all the ingredients used in their cocktails are either hand-pressed or handcrafted which includes their 40 whiskeys in small batches.
Eureka! the founder Paul Frederick tells FSR Review, “Customers can experience their favorite new style of hamburger or unique whiskey in small batches while supporting the local community with our beverage program featuring California’s best breweries, distilleries and wineries. Our goal is to be the ultimate foodie destination for everyone.
The highlight of Eureka’s food menu is their 28-day dry-aged bone marrow burger, which is only prepared in limited quantities each day at each restaurant. The Bison Burger and the Fresno Fig Burger are two other fan favorites, along with the Spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich and the Fried Chicken Fillets both of which are hand breaded.
“We’re trying to be the chain without a chain,” Joe Bejos, vice president of kitchen operations, told Mercury News. Bejos also says that the locations will offer at least six new menu items in August. There will be a mushroom burger with truffles and a double stacked burger as well as four new appetizers that include roasted beets with whipped feta, a stack of ahi tuna, grilled eggplant and grilled cauliflower.
According to their website, in addition to the mouthwatering menu, Eureka! Also features live music all day Thursday as well as promotions all week. The new Santa Clara location is open from 11 am to 9 pm daily and there is a “Hoppy Hour” daily from 3 pm to 6 pm
