The cast of “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” released their own whiskey. The Four Walls Whiskey Collector’s Edition will set you back $999.95.
The Cask Strength Single Barrel Collector’s Edition includes autographed cards by Glenn Howerton, Rob McElhenney and Charlie Day, creators of the live-action sitcom “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.”
The single malt, cask strength Irish whiskey is made to celebrate 15 years of the show and “is a tribute to the four walls the gang calls home – the bar”.
The brand states, “These extremely limited single-barrel expressions, crafted in traditional pot stills and aged in ex-bourbon casks for more than 15 years to celebrate 15 record-breaking seasons of ‘It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,’ have resulted in only 755 bottles of the world’s rarest and finest Irish expression on public sale.
The limited edition A Bartender’s Blend sells for $88.95. “Classic Irish triple-distilled grain whiskey is married to equal parts still malt and aged for five years in ex-bourbon barrels before heading to [Pennsylvania’s] (Pennsylvania is misspelled on the website) Wigle Whiskey for a kiss from their rye, also five years old.
Mixed for bartenders, this Four Walls is smooth enough to drink straight but still holds up in a cocktail. Each bottle arrives with premium, personalized packaging.
According to the website, Four Walls is expected to arrive in mid-July.
All proceeds will be donated to non-profit organizations that benefit the bartending community, including the Pennsylvania Restaurant and Lodging Association’s Hospitality Assistance Response of Pennsylvania (HARP).
The website includes this “official toast to Four Walls Whiskey.
To the room that brings us together.
Where the gang calls home.
To the four walls that hold our favorite memories and keep our troubles at bay.
