If your cocktail of choice is Jack and Coke, then the next big thing in canned drinks is ready for you.
On Monday, Jack Daniel’s parent, Brown-Forman, and The Coca-Cola Company announced the launch of a pre-mixed ready-to-drink whiskey and cola cocktail. Jack Daniel’s is the best-selling American whiskey in the world and Coke is the best-selling soft drink.
Inspired by the classic bar staple cocktail for many, the canned drink will be made with real Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 Brand Tennessee Whiskey and Coca-Cola, according to the announcement.
It will be available in markets around the world; the initial launch is scheduled for Mexico in late 2022. No date has been given for its release in the United States
According to the press release, the RTD (ready to drink) can will be 5% liquor volume (or 10 proof), but this may vary depending on the market.
And a sugar-free version will also be available.
