With award-winning owner and chef Engin Onural at the helm, Sandfish will offer a carefully curated menu where guests can expect specialty rolls like the experimental roll with snow crab, mango, avocado and cucumber, garnished with tuna, jalapeno, cilantro and yuzu. aioli, or baby langoustine roll with crabmeat, avocado, tempura-style baby langoustine, spicy aioli, teriyaki sauce and microgreens.
In addition to its hand-rolled sushi, the new spot also offers a fine selection of savory dishes such as Spanish octopus both braised and grilled, then served with edamame hummus, bubu arare, nori tsukudani and microgreens, or the albacore tataki, with seared albacore, fennel, shallots, homemade lime koshu, taro chips and seaweed salt from Norway. To balance out each tasty bite, a homemade matcha cheesecake is available in the dessert range.
An impressive drinks program is set to make its mark at Sandfish, with a full bar featuring innovative cocktail creations, mocktails, beer, sake, wine and the highly anticipated range of world-sourced whiskeys.
