Whiskey Joe’s opens new restaurant and tiki bar in Pensacola Beach

You might have heard the hum of music coming from the Pensacola Beach Boardwalk as Whiskey Joe’s Bar and Grill tested its menu Wednesday and Thursday in a special soft opening for family and friends.

Now, the wait is over as the first phase of the Floribbean-themed restaurant opened to the public on Friday.

The location that once housed Pensacola Beach’s Castaways Beachside Restaurant and Raw Bar and Jubilee Oyster Bar & Grille will now serve as an indoor and outdoor restaurant with an extensive cocktail selection, fire pits and beach views.

Friday marks the start of the restaurant’s first phase, using an outdoor kitchen and outdoor dining area. The restaurant’s indoor dining room and two indoor kitchens will follow closely in April.

Guests are also welcome to come and have a drink and sit by the water, with more than 40 different cocktails offered by Whiskey Joe’s “World-Famous Tiki Bar”.
